Our Beginning

The National Society Daughters of the CSA Officer Corps was founded by a group of women who are descendants of Commissioned Confederate Officers, who served during the War Between the States, 1861-1865. During the Military Order of the Stars and Bars 2017 Convention in SC, the members voted to support the establishment of a separate and independent sister organization for the ladies. The NSDCSAOC was officially established shortly afterward, and was recognized by the IRS as a non-profit organization in 2018. The first official meeting of NSDCSAOC was an organizational meeting held in 2018 in Baton Rouge, LA, in conjunction with the MOS&B 2018 Annual Convention.

The National Society Daughters of CSA Officer Corps is dedicated to honoring and preserving the legacy of Confederate officers who served the Confederate States of America.

Through historical preservation, education, outreach, and remembrance, we seek to safeguard their stories, deepen the understanding of their contributions, and inspire future generations to value Southern heritage

Our Objectives

Honor and preserve the memory, service, and legacy of Confederate officers and their families, as well as all American Veterans.
Inspire future generations through education to appreciate, preserve, and share Southern history and heritage.
Encourage the research, documentation, and preservation of Southern history and heritage.
Support remembrance activities, including memorial services, commemorative events, and monument preservation.
Strengthen the Society through membership development, effective leadership, open communication, and active member engagement.
Support charitable giving to projects and organizations that advance historical preservation, education, veterans’ causes, memorials, and Southern heritage.
